QUALIDADE DE VIDA RELACIONADA À SAÚDE DE ESTUDANTES DO ENSINO MÉDIO EM CONTEXTOS URBANO
Resumo
The school constitutes a strategic space for promoting the quality of life of adolescents, forming a fundamental environment for coexistence, learning, and integral human development. However, students embedded in urban and rural contexts experience distinct and unequal realities, which directly impact their perceptions of health, well-being, leisure, social relations, and the school environment itself. In this sense, it is postulated that High School students from urban and rural contexts perceive quality of life differently, due to socio-territorial specificities, and that the collective construction of a pedagogical action plan can actively contribute to the problematization, socialization, and resignification of these perceptions. Thus, the objective is to build a pedagogical action plan centered on student protagonism, based on the analysis of Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) perceptions of High School students from urban and rural areas, consolidating the school as a territory for health promotion. This study is an applied research, with a mixed, descriptive, and exploratory approach, structured under the technical procedure of action research (Gil, 2008; Prodanov; Freitas, 2013), developed with students from a state public school in Olho D’Água das Flores/AL. Data collection will utilize the KIDSCREEN-52 questionnaire, focus groups, and field journals. The research design comprises: (a) a comparative diagnosis of HRQoL; (b) a collaborative analysis via conversation circles; (c) the construction and experimentation of a didactic sequence; and (d) the collective elaboration of pedagogical material. Expected Results: It is expected to understand HRQoL in its multidimensional and socio-cultural complexity, outlining territorial differences. The study aims to foster student protagonism, critical reflection on the social determinants of health, and produce a validated educational resource to support teaching praxis in High School Physical Education.
